How do you earn an "A"?
Through the efforts of The Tampa Tribune's award-winning News In Education (NIE) program, students are motivated to learn and develop lifelong reading and critical thinking skills. NIE students significantly outperform others in reading and writing. NIE provides "real-life learning" a major focus of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). SCHOOLS NEED YOUR HELP. The Tribune covers half the cost of the newspapers and provides, free of charge to schools, fun and innovative lesson plans to enhance the use of the newspaper in the classroom, but sponsors are needed to help with the rest. For only 12.5 cents per newspaper you can join the Tribune in making a difference in the 350-plus NIE schools being served in the Tampa Bay area. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and as an NIE partner, you will receive public recognition in The Tampa Tribune through a full-page thank-you ad, along with other sponsors.
