Faith or Fraud?

Tampa-based Greater Ministries International has been placed in a federal receivership while seven officials await trial on conspiracy, fraud and money laundering charges.

U.S. Marshals run across Bird Street Aug. 6 to take control of Greater Ministries International Church's headquarters. Church officials say their religious freedom is at stake. The court-appointed receiver, James W. Beasley, is encouraging people who believe they have been victimized by the group's financial program to contact him at James W. Beasley.
